Bellevue, WA., July 02, 2007-NCsoft® and ArenaNet® announced that Guild Wars: Eye of the North™, the first ever expansion to the subscription-free Guild Wars® franchise of fantasy online role-playing games, will be released to the public on August 31, 2007. The Guild Wars: Eye of the North expansion will be available for an expected price of $39.99 in North America and 34.99 (Euros) in Europe, as well as through the NCsoft store at PlayNC.com and in the Guild Wars in-game store.

Anet is sending me yet ANOTHER cd key so I can review the new expansion!!

Yea, my favorite game, and I have never even paid for it!!! :p: My brother gives me his account not even 1 month after the game launches, it's just not what he was looking for in an MMO. I get Factions to review, I get Nightfall to review, and now I'm getting Eye of the North to review!!!!!!!! :D:

There were already 2 expansions released for the game. Maybe that websie should hire an editor.

Factions and Nightfall are full, stand alone campaigns, not expansions.

You dont need either of the 3 campaigns to play the others. But you can merge them so characters can travel between them and play out the missions in them. You do however, have to own at least one of the 3 campaigns in order to play GW:EN.
