i keep getting a error r6025 and cannot figure out why can anyone help

can you give us more info like your system specs? Also, make sure you meet the "recommended" requirements rather then "minimum". Also make sure you have all your video/sound card drivers up to date. Get the patch if necessary. =]

Zeddicus, whenever I play the game, at certain points there's some kind of screeching or other strange sound, sort of like a hiccuping, is about the best way to describe it. You'd have to hear it for yourself. I'm using SBLive so I dunno if that's the problem right there but when I went to update it I got the message that it's already the latest version and there's no update for it. The damn thing's over 3 years old and there's no update for it? WTF??? Anyway, any suggestions?

Nah, seriously though, you might want to get a new sound card. It's sooooo worth it. Believe you me.
