Funny Ventrillo harassment of WoW nerds ;) By the end, the kid goes nuts.

Watch out for a lot of swearing.

Definitely a lot of foul language. Too bad it is becoming such a typical part of our everyday conversing!
For private gatherings or non-public airing, it may be somewhat acceptable.. but would cause great concern if aired publicly, or used where high-level diplomacy is involved.
Guess it all started with GWTW.. when Mr. Gable said that 4-letter word.. and did it raise some eyebrows!

It seems like the younger the gamer is, the more foul the mouth.

Christ, some of the kids on X-box Live?

Ho-ho, man. (Seriously though, why are twelve year olds playing Gears?)

It's always funny when they suddenly go blissfully silent for a few minutes because a parent is within earshot.

It's the advent of voice chat, that's what i blame.

You know, they're all compensating for their squeaky high-pitched voices.

And you would know why? :p:

Hey, i know what you're trying to infer, and let me just tell you that voice chat wasn't even in use for gaming back when i had a squeaky voice!

I didn't think it was that funny at first, but much later on I was laughing so hard, especially when he starts saying "ball-ball-ball-balls of steel."

I don't know why, it just got hillarious.

Heh, yeah, the pre-pubescent teens on mics are horrible in any game. I still remember the days of the Halo 2 in its prime, it was horrible. You couldn't even say anything without some dumb ass swearing at ya.

I don't get something about this audio though. They mention the mother couple of times, when did she come on?

Watch this one, its a classic:

The high pitched voice?

It's not a kid, it's the mother of the guy who speaks later in the video.

I didn't realize it until i watched it a second time.

So this video is even more ****** up than you initially thought it was.

I saw it a couple days ago over at Break.com
http://www.break.com/index/kid-pranks-guild-in-vent.html

I liked the "15 minutes later".. amazing how long it actually went on for and how some kid goes so crazy over a few words being repeated.

Why is it kids always think swearing makes them sound cool?

Because they are kids and don't yet understand how to use words and logic together to really slam your opponent down worse than swearing ever could. Swearing makes people sound like an idiot when used excessively.

While this child is screaming, i ask where his parents are. Surely if you hurt your child screaming those words while sitting at the computer, you'd be just a bit curious what he was doing and who is was talking to.

Unfortunately either the parents dont care (or are just as bad) or as Sno pointed out he shuts up when his parents are in the room.

Kids today... god i sound like an old fart!

If its really a girl, then oh my... WoW seems to have some really negative side effects on some ppl.

.

Beats me how anyone listening to that exchange can think it was a kid going ballistic.

It was obviously an adult female's voice.

Also not sure why anyone thinks it was particularly funny. She overreacted to what was obviously a childish prank and then became extremely angry, which was actually pretty pathetic not humorous.

Cheers, Terry

It's an adult woman? WOW, i thought it was some young kid too. It really is more messed up that i first thought. Human beings, the strangest creatures.. we can create so much and at times act like the biggest morons.

"A Man is smart. Human beings are dumb, panicky flock of sheep and you know that. 1500 years ago everybody knew the earth was the centre of the universe. It took one man to disprove that. 700 years ago everybody was convinced that the Earth was flat. It took another man to prove them wrong"

Mob mentality / groupthink aside, also remember that individuals can be dumb, panicky sheep and at one time or another almost everybody is.

That lady though was simply an over-emotional moron with a very foul mouth. She had to be pretty damned stupid too, not to realize the voice was a recording being played specifically to push her far too sensitive buttons. The rest of the people on that server didn't get the least bit upset and most thought it was kind of funny.

So the lesson here is that sometimes groups act a lot smarter than single individuals.
