I will probably try this out, but I'm not nearly as excited about this as I would be if the new trilogy hadn't sucked so much.

Cool. Let us know when it is out. I'll give it a whirl, just so I can go wild and kill every new alien race that appeared in the new trilogy.

Please say there's a "kill every gungan" level...

The new trilogy didn't suck as much as people say. Sure, Annakin ruined Darth Vader, but you gotta admit there were some cool moments in all three of the movies.

And for once, stormtroopers/clonetroopers weren't total patsies. The clone troopers actually fought quite well.

But, yeah, if you focus on Padme and Annakin, the new trilogy did indeed suck. However, I like Ewan Mcgregor as Obi-Wan. Darth Maul and Jango Fett were also very cool.

... you gotta admit there were some cool moments in all three of the movies.

The ONLY redeeming quality about the new movies were the lightsaber battles, when they weren't being interrupted by cuts to other scenes. The only exception to that was Dooko's and Yoda's fight. I've yet to find anyone who can explain to me why Yoda could leap across the cavern walls, but when the fight was finally over, he needed his cane back.

:P

My biggest gripe with the new trilogy was the arc Anakin took to the dark side. In Episode 1, he was almost holy in his portrayal, as it should have been. He was supposed to be the light to counter the darkness. Yet, right at the beginning of Episode 2 he was a whiny bitch that I immediately disliked. There was no explanation for his sudden arrogance. The arc, without us, had almost been completed.

Personally, the holiness routine should have continued. He should have been portrayed as the light against the darkness. He should have been a model padewan, and then when his mom died he could have lost a step. Then, losing Padme in the middle of Episode 3 could have made him snap and fully fall to the dark side with the Emperor.

And I do not think it was Hayden's fault as an actor. I have seen his other movies and he is not a bad actor, and in the two sequences in Episode 3 that were not directed by Lucas but instead by Spielberg show that Hayden can act. In fact, many of the bad performances came from good actors.

But, all my opinion.

Which two sequences were those?

From IMDB

George Lucas allowed his friend Steven Spielberg to help design some sequences during pre-production. This was partly because Spielberg wanted the experience of using the 'pre-visualisation' techniques pioneered by ILM as he was going to use them for War of the Worlds (2005). It was also because Lucas felt that his roles as Writer, Director, Executive Producer and Financier were taking up too much of his time and he needed another director to bounce ideas off. Spielberg's main contribution was in the climactic lightsabre duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin.

I am sorry, I thought I heard on the Episode 3 extras that Spielberg directed two sequences, but apparently it was only designing sequences. Still, I stand by my other, non-false statements. :):

Wow a 37 minute trailer!
Checking it out now. Good to see people putting in a lot of effort when creating TC's.

After watching it.. im totally stunned. This looks AMAZING!
They've spent so much time on this and im amazed and how much content there is in this TC. I'll definitely be checking it out. This TC looks to have a lot more content that the games we pay for have.
