I just change my PC, from an old Gateway 750 Mhz WinME to a P4 - 2.8 WinXP. I can install CMR but it won't run ! I have a Radeon 9200 card...

OK, sorry for the lack of detail !

It just freezes. The SplashScreen comes up, then that's it ! Ctrl+Alt+Del and kill the process is all I can do.

Thanks

A couple of quick things to check:

1. You've got the latest game patches?

2. You've got the latest sound card drivers (assuming you don't have onboard sound)?

3. You've got the latest vid card driver installed?

A couple of things to try:

1. Try a different vid card driver. Sometimes older drivers work better than the latest.

2. Check the official game website tech help board. Sometimes other game owners have had the same problem and found a fix.

Aaargh !!! I di upgrade my video card driver (Radeon) : it did work for 2-3 weeks.

But today it does not work again ! The only significant install I made since is Office XP... And the automatic windows update of course.

Again CMR gets stuck at the splash screen...

Any idea what could be the cause of my problem ?
