 Well, that leaves me out, then. I only have a GeForce MX 440 card on my system. I run "PainKiller" just fine, however. Oh well, there are better things I can do with my time.......
.........like look for a freakin' new job! I hate my job!
 Peace, y'all.

So you can play the game on a moderate-end system. The latest high-end system is recommended. Low-end systems are out of luck.
I don't know. If I were designing a game it probably would have additional features and setting to allow it to be played on even the very low-end systems, as well as tax the latest uber systems.

yikes. Good thing I'm not planning on picking this one up. I'm still gonna have to upgrade soon, though. HL2 is also just around the corner, and that's the game I'm willing to upgrade to play. :):

Read the other thread in the hardware forum Chylde, you would have really no problem playing this one apparently. Hell, it's even "playable" on a GeForce 4 MX which is worse than you GF3.

I think that these "recommended" specs are a little misleading sometimes. After all, I'd recommend playing NOLF 2 on a system with a high-end CPU from either Intel or AMD, along with the newest/best graphics card from nVidia or ATI, on a 22"+ monitor, with the latest Creative audio card and a great set of 5.1 speakers.
That doesn't mean you NEED those specs to play it with the settings maxed. But you would get more FPS with stunning sound.

Well, as long as I hit 60 FPS with decent eye candy turned on, I'll be happy.

Damn. I don't want to run this game at 3fps... I need a new computer.

I imagine it isn't going to look like total trash on "low" settings, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
