Hello,
I have a problem with Need for speed underground 2..
I can't enter it. When i try it says: "speed2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I have mounted CD1.iso with daemon tool.. When it says put Disc 2, i unmount CD1 and mount CD2.. Then, when it have installed it, i replace the 5.70 MB "speed2.exe" with the 4.56 MB "speed2.exe"
And when i try to enter it, it still says it! And CD2 is mounted!
Please help me! Thx, ReaZeN

I have seen this exact problem before and there is a very easy work around.
Just follow these simple steps:
1. Go to the store
2. Buy the game
3. Install legal copy of game
4. Enjoy

Haha wow, do them pirates get any dumber than this. If you are stealing a game, at least don't let the whole world know about it lol.

Best Need for Speed game ever since the 5th installment. Its huge, an amazing selection of cars, there is so much stuff to do. Customization options are second to none, you could buy Escalade and trick it out with huge rims, sound systems, amps, neon in the trunk, all licensed parts and manufacturers. So many race types too, from drag, drift and circuit, to actual races on racetrack and downhill drifting, Street X (think Figure 8 racing, sort of on drift tracks). Plus you can take pictures of your ride for magazine covers.
It got best reviews out of all recent Need for Speed games too. It takes about 40 hours to beat the game without doing any extra challenges. Its incredible.
I say, if you like simple racing, cars and customization, this game is a must have. IGN gave the PC version a 9.1, which is 2nd highest rated NFS game ever.

Here's how IMO the Need for Speed games are ranked:
1. Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit ==> Ground-breaking graphics, multiplayer, music, gameplay, everything. Just awesome.
2. Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed ==> A really deep sim, with just about every Porsche car ever created or conceived. Highly recommended for sim fans.
3. Need for Speed: Most Wanted ==> Despite some small mishaps on EA's part (like the driver not moving hands while driving and its the same guy in every car, even if its a girl according to the "story"), it was the most fun I ever had in a NFS game. The cop chases are intense and awesome. Music (the orchestral score) is awesome and dynamic. Car selection is good. I've owned it twice for 360 and PC, but in the end, I still have my PC Black Edition.
4. Need for Speed: Underground ==> Resurrection of the series. Near perfect game, marred by lack of in-depth tuning and a bit claustrophobic city.
5. Need for Speed: Underground 2 ==> Huge city, lots of cars, 40 hours of gameplay. Unbelievable.
Now, for not-so-good Need for Speed games:
1. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 ==> It was awesome on PS2, being developed by Black Box, but for all other consoles it was developed by some no-name studio and it was utter crap. Worst. Need for Speed game ever (excluding PS2 version). They removed damage modeling present in previous 2 games, the cops were dumb, removed the 3D cockpit view that was the trademark of the series ever since the NFSIII, graphics were ugly, and the career mode was boring. It was a huge step-back in the series (except the PS2 version). Honestly, I'd be much more happier if they just ported the PS2 version over to PC. But, alas, it didn't happen. Unfortunately, this game also marked the end of the 3D cockpit view for all Need for Speed games to come.
2. Need for Speed Carbon ==> Typical EA problems, not so fun, derivative, boring, dumb ass crew-AI, lame story, has that been-here-done-that feeling to it, none of the mistakes of Most Wanted were fixed, you can beat the game without ever getting chased by cops (aka boring), game re-uses the same sounds effects and speech recording from Most Wanted. Pretty damn bad game overall though it sold well and got decent reviews. Should've been so much better. Compared to the challenge that was the Blacklist in Most Wanted, the 3 boses you face in Carbon are easy, and uncool. Main boss sucks. Razor was so much cooler. Also its short. There is like 60 races in total. I never touched the Autosculpt feature. Amount of aftermarket parts was decreased severely from Most Wanted. Nice car selection, with Skyline back in business, except you unlock it like 1 hr before you're done with the game. No server browser, friends list in Online Mode. Your Crew is a crappy useless gimmick. They're also annoying as hell, and keep talking to you every 5 seconds. "OH YEAH MAN WAY TO TAKE OVER" "OH MAN I CRASHED" "YEAH DUDE KEEP IT UP" "YEAH WE WON" "LEMME SUCK YOUR ****"
Honorable mention:
Need for Speed 4: High Stakes ==> A minor update to the 3rd installment, it added new cars, damage modelling and new career mode. It was good, but nowhere near as ground breaking as the 3rd NFS game was.
And yes, I do own every single Need for Speed game on PC.
