Hi folks. Well, I've beat PainKiller twice, and I'm getting tired of it. The monsters don't scare me, anymore. Heh, heh. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I need something to get me through until Doom III; and, after seeing Fazoul's post and screenshots a couple of weeks ago, I decided to get The Suffering for PC.
Amazon.com didn't have it, so I tried gogamers.com, which Fazoul also mentioned, and that is what this post is all about. I ordered the game on Tuesday morning, they shipped it Tuesday afternoon; and I got it Thursday morning. Six bucks for 2nd day delivery, and they'll ship up to three games for the same price, so that's nice all in itself. Then, when I opened the box, along with the game was a raspberry lollipop and a cute, little, calculator in a small black box.
Now I don't need another calculator, and, at my age, a lollipop is a very small pleasure; but the idea of a company giving a little something "extra" and unexpected sure put a smile on my face. I don't know how many of you use them to purchase games, but I'll have to admit they made a good first impression on me, and their prices are good, too. Its just so unusual, these days, for any business to do anything "nice" that I thought I'd pass along my smile and give them a public pat on the back. Edward.
