Dude. Seriously. Anybody else ever going to play besides me?
Either there's an annoying amount of people in this game that never played an MMO or there's an unusually high level of griefer types. I can't decide which. In WoW, running across a real griefer was pretty rare. Seems like I run into grief like activity every time I play LoTR.

I haven't played anything for a while, sorry, things are a little crazy at home right now.

I'm on - but only for a an hour or two at night, EST, during the week.
Want to get my Lore Master to level 20 tonight as a goal (shouldn't take long - half way there @ 19). Probably will try to finish the Book 1 chapter quests (on chapter 5 now) at the Hunters Lodge also.
I'm "Pispor" so feel free to hit me up if I'm on, ecspecially if anyone wants to do the story/epic quest line.
As for griefers - what do you mean? I ran into some of that early on in crowded areas, but the spawn rates are so high/quick, that it's never been an issue for me at all. So, I'm not sure.
The last thing LOTRO does, is make me miss WoW.

Mob stealing. A lot of mob stealing. At times repeatedly.
Never had any serious issues with WoW. I've got some major issues with Blizzard, which is why I won't play WoW again but their product was ok.

Sorry, I haven't really been on much lately, pretty busy at home, too. I'm either on as Celyse, Kraveln or Shinta. I'd be up for the epic stuff, too.
I"ve noticed a bit of grief-like activity myself. Mob stealing is definitely a big one, sometimes I've had an issue with people trying to steal my resource nodes, but no biggie overall. I always shift-right-click on a resource node, so it automatically loots once I'm done harvesting. And I keep my gear up to date, as the better stuff mines/gathers faster than the cheap crap.

Ah ok - mob stealing. Hasn't been an issue for me yet - but could see where it can be. Again the spawn times are so high that I just have to remind myself of that.

I'm back on a little now, usually playing an hour or two at a time. My Guardian (Gimel) is level 12 now.
I may be far behind enough now not to get hit by griefing, I haven't been affected by it. I find most of the people to be generally friendly so far too. Randomly grouped a few times yesterday and had no issues, took down my first elite mob.

I find that I have times of frustration with running long distances and trying to find things. I get bored running around looking for "that cabin north of the road" and just log until the next time, and do something else. I guess that's not a good sign.
I'm almost to lvl 21, with barely any time played the last week or so relatively speaking.
I just don't have a lot of time for an MMO these days and am content to just take my time I guess. Also no hurry to get to level 28-30 until they come out with the update for the 30ish level solo quests.
There are some real bird brains in this game, although I've grouped up with some excellent players too, and we got through some tough elite quests for our level (thanks to the crowd control of my Lore Master and the twitchy tanks and hunters letting me do my thing first in order to be successful).

Running gets old. The rapid travel is too expensive. They really need to address that.

I concur, along with making repair less expensive.
