Hi,

I want to buy a game on ebay, but it is only available in the format PAL (UK Standard), will the game still work on my pc and screen or not ?

By the way, I'm in canada if that can help answer

If its a PC game, then yes. If its a console game, no.

There are three standards for TV signals.. NTSC, used in most of North America and some other areas. The PAL and SECAM are the other major types, used in other countries. Neither is compatible with others. Check what type of signal standard your TV uses before buying.. or you will have to spend a lot of money for a signal converter. If the game is for the PC, it should work on any PC. If for a console, then you may have problems. Those game consoles generally don't have a switch to select output signal type.
