What does everyone think of Nexuiz?

It looks kinda cheap, ie another home made game.
Nexuiz has the potential to be something good but at the same time could be lame.

I wont be sitting on the edge of my seat for this 1 to come out...

looks like a neat homebrewed game. Improve the texturing on character models and higher poly's and you might have something goin for graphics. Sound is all important too to get the feeling for the environment. Also, the gameplay has to be there too otherwise its all eye candy and does nothing =]
