Painkiller patch v1.3.1 released

DreamCatcher has released a new patch for Painkiller, upgrading the frantic first-person shooter by People Can Fly to version 1.3.1. This Hotfix patch only addresses the Load game issue from saves within a game level and is multiplayer compatible with the previous version 1.3.

Yeah, I mentioned I was replaying the game; and I got the 1.3 patch about halfway through. It erased me gained Tarot cards, and by the time I got to the Train Station level, it wouldn't load, at all; and I had to quit. It really pissed me off for them to release such a worthless patch, and I had to uninstall, reinstall, and go back to the 1.2 patch before starting all over, again. I'm still not back to the point I was, but at least the game plays, now.

I don't think I'll be fooling with their latest patch. I ordered the Suffering, and it should be here, tomorrow; so I think I'll retire PainKiller and play it until Doom III hits the shelves. I still say Painkiller is a good game, and I have enjoyed playing it; but the bugs, and then the faulty patch really turned me off, and I'll think twice before buying anything else by DreamCatcher.
