Snoy Walkman issues.

Hi all,

I am woundering if any tech heads can help me out.

I have a Sony walkman 20g (its the NW-A3000) Anyhow, when I got it I installed the CONNECT Player software that came with and set about installing all my music on to it. Everything was gravy untill one day the CONNECT Player did not boot up when I plugged in the Walkman. I tried booting it up manualy, but to no avail.

So, I reinstalled the CONNECT Player and as expected I lost my libary of songs. Not that big a deal I thought as I settled down to rip them again. Thing is that the CONNECT Player, for what ever reason will now not sync with the Walkman!! Ihave tried resetting the Walkman, but this have made no diffrence!

Anyone any ideas please.....

I'm guessing not too many people have Sony Walkmen around here (myself included).

I did find this forum for Sony owners. It seems Connect Player software issues are common.

I used to have a Sony w810i phone which included Walkman software. The software was a mess and mine did the same thing. I don't really have any advice but I share your frustration with their poor software package.
