Who here liked the game? I just got it from EB Games in the used section for a sweet deal. Any tips or words of advice? So far, I'm diggin' it.

Check out this thread from not too long ago. A lot of good info here. (http://forums.gamers.org/showthread.php?t=995)
Best of luck to you. It's a great game.

Did you get the GOTY edition? And yes, definitely check out that thread.

You certainly will enjoy many hours playing this excellent game. I have to agree with everyone else here, check out the thread mentioned above. Lots of great information in that thread. Other than that, don't rush through the game. Take it slow and explore as much as you can - it's worth it.

No, I didn't. Am I missing out big time if I don't have it? I hope not. This seems more like an interesting game as it is.
Thanks for the link.

Well, unfortunately, yes mostly (you're missing out). Tribunal and Bloodmoon are the two expansions to the game that are available, and come with the GOTY edition and is already patched up (no patches needed IOW).
They are both excellent and Tribunal adds the new journal functionalities that make it much, much easier to keep track of quests from the beginning of the game when you install it.
The latest patch will give you health bars - but you could pick up the two expansions for $10 each used probably at an EB Games or Gamestop I bet. I've seen Tribunal at least. Even new they're cheap now.
Outside of that I'd just patch up the original game you have, and the fact that it's so long/good in and of itself, will keep you going for a long time... the journal thing is pretty annoying, but again definitely get the latest patch.

I never played the expansion packs. It just seems like a drag to buy them now since I do not have my save game file anymore.
