Still on XP for main OS. Will get Vista as dual boot to fiddle around with it a bit.

I run Win XP Pro and I dual boot OpenSUSE 10.2 but I only use that for some classes, maybe once they release some soundcard drivers for my X-Fi card I will use it more. I would like to use OSX but I can't afford a mac desktop, nor do I really want one. I do want a macbook though, so hopefully I'll get one of those in the next year or so.

XP home. I'm sure I'll go to Vista when I build or buy my next computer. Edward.

XP exclusively. Not going to rush into Vista either.

I didn't see DOS as one of the choices. Why no love for DOS?

XP. I tried upgrading to Vista, but it blew up my HDD. I followed all the rules, did things exactly how MS told me to do it, both in their instructions and in the knowledge base articles. But nothing worked. It kept hanging up and I was constantly having to back out the installation.
It finally broke when it got stuck in an infinite reboot loop. My PC rebooted over and over again, and the only way to break out of it was to go to the boot screen, and reinstall XP. This, of course, required a reformat on my primary HDD. Oh well, things are back to normal now, so it's all good.
Fortunately, I bought it at Costco, and they take anything back, no questions asked. Based on what I went through, I will not update to Vista until I have no choice in the matter.

I have 2 PC's, one on Vista one on XP.
My advice, cling to XP as long as you can :p:

XP, and I'd convert to linux if it'd play my games! Even if it does, it won't play them as well as XP will so I'm stuck in this windows realm. I am going to convert to linux for everything else pretty soon though, maybe on my March break.

Vista on both my computers :evil2:
I had been running Ubuntu on them until yesterday, but I broke down and switched back to windows. Linux is very close to replacing windows, but I still have issues with it.

I'm 20 minutes off a fresh install of XP Pro........
I wont jump on Vista until XP is dead. I really want to play HALO2, but there is no game that will make me switch OS's........
Though, once games start being Vista only, then that's when I'll call XP dead.........and switch.......

Shouldn't have to worry for a long, long time SB. The adoption rate for Vista is going to be much longer than the adoption rate was for moving to XP from Win98.
Currently have XP on my system and will have for the foreseeable future. Can't think of any motivating reason why I'd want to make the switch!

Both. XP on desktop, Vista on my notebook. I've been too busy to remove Vista, so I'm running it for the near future.
It's okay. Very bloody pretty, and easy to use Media Center wise, but as a work-OS? Some niggling networking issues and RAM usage isn't ideal.
edit: screw it. I'm removing Vista. Too many issues are cropping up. This bites.
