I am now at the end of my rope with this game. I have turned down everything that I could to medium and yet I have nothing but total jerking of the frames. With my specs below I should be running everything at Max and still I'm limited. The only thing that I can think of is uninstalling and reinstalling but I'm thinking of that being a waste of time. Any suggestions?

I'd suggest trying the forums over at AVSIM. (http://www.avsim.com/) Those guys have been a big help over the years in helping me to get FS9 run silky smooth on my system. I know that many of them have made the leap to FSX and have worked through problems similar to what you are having.
Good luck.

Well I formatted my HD then reinstalled Vista and then updated all of my hardware. I have better game play but it still has a lot of jerking going on for my setup. Microsoft seems to be the bottleneck.
