Just noticed this online, and apparently it was released on 11/22:

For anyone not aware of it, it includes KOTOR, Jedi Outcast, SW: Empire At War, Republic Commando, Battlefront, and a 14 day trial for Galaxies.

I'm gonna pick it up for this weekend and see how it goes - but wow nice value for $40 ($35 at BB). I want to play through Outcast again, and wouldn't mind trying Commando and Empire At War as well as Battlefront for kicks. And if Galaxies is free, who knows, if my HDD has enough room - I'll put em all on my PC. ;)

I wish it included Jedi Academy, but the others, for the price, hard to beat. It also comes on a DVD.

Happy gaming!

I haven't played any of the other games, but KoTOR is still worth price of admission. It has its flaws, but it is a worthy RPG and one of the better Star Wars games period.

I've played Outcast, Academy, and Republic Commando, and I thought they were all pretty decent shooters. I don't do the other genres, so I don't know about them. Edward.

How the hell can they call it a "best of PC" pack without JK:DF2 or Tie Fighter?

Pffft.

Aside from personal bias and picking nits over the selection etc.., I thought it was a good deal. I'm glad to have Outcast (one of my all-time favorites) on DVD now, as well as KOTOR, and have always wanted to play the other 3. For $35-$40, can't complain. I've already beaten KOTOR more than once, but am always up for playing through it again, and Commando so far is actually pretty entertaining and fairly stunning visually.

I don't know, I like video games, I like the Star Wars games, sue me. :)

That said, the selected games *are* very good games, and they're definitely worth the price tag, even for KOTOR and outcast alone.

I didn't realize Commando was such a good game - Battlefront is fun for kicks too, very accessible on and off-line, and both games are very nice to look at. Haven't even gotten to Empire yet.

It always could be, but I have a feeling it may not be at the moment. Right now Bioware is working on Mass Effect (looking to be a KoTOR killer) and Obsidian just finished (kinda) Neverwinter Nights 2. Personally, I would rather see Bioware do it as I felt KoTOR 1 was more polished.

Borat? Is that you? :)

I know of no plans for a KOTOR 3 myself. KOTOR 2 just got on my nerves as it was the exact same game but with more annoying inventory and weapon juggling/scuttling. Frankly I'm over the whole "loot" thing in games completely, the less you have to pick up and trade/sell/repair/equip/switch around, the better!

But KOTOR 1 was great.
