Yeah I finally did it, I broke down a few months ago and started to order the parts for a Dualie-SLI rig. Slapped it all together this past weekend , and started to load up my library of titles.
So far only one title has been rendered un-playable. It is that classic AvPgold. ( already know about setting the 'core-affinity' for any titles that may have an issue ) When setting it up under options, the game tells me that it detects my Nvidia 7600GT s ( patched with latest WHQL drivers ), which kind of surprised me.
Everything goes along as per usual, till I launch any missions/skirmishes. That is when I am informed that my video cards do NOT have sufficient RAM to play the game.
Knowing that is not the issue, I am operating under the presumption that the game does not recognize these video cards, and therefore are 'assigning' zero RAM capacity to them.
Does anybody have any insight to this issue? Played fine on my old XP cr8.
