Nascar 2003 Season - Computer Restart Trouble

Greetz all;

For some unknown reason my computer will restart when I try to enter a session to drive the car. The game loads up alright but it is when I click 'Drive' to get in the car that she will shut down. Computer is above the specs and there is no problem when I drive in testing. I am thinking it is related to the number of cars that are out on track.

So is there anyone else who has been having that problem? Or better yet - do they know of a way to solve this? Going to be racing online and don't want to be running into problems of the game kicking it before I get a chance to drive.

Oddly enough - despite me thinking it was a graphic problem I believe it could be to do with the sound (strange huh?) - just tried turning the sound off and trying it and its running. So now all's i need to do is find out why my old sound drivers are fracking up and which ones I need to fix it!

Any thoughts on this are still welcome ^^

Try to update the sound card drivers and you may get lucky. Definately some sort of conflict there.
