I just got my Viewsonic 21" monitor and hooked it up to my "old" pc while waiting for all the parts for my new one. This thing is unbelievable. The picture quality is so much better than my old monitor. My wife walked in and was very impressed. I hope the rest of my new pc blows me away as much as this monitor has.

Glad you're having fun with all the new PC gear Gary. I love my ViewSonic UltraBrite CRT too and think they are the best bargain around for the price. Bet you can't wait to get the rest of the components together so you can play the very latest 3D games in vivid high-res color with all the FX turned up full. You'll love the improved 3D surround sound too!

I'm playing Morrowind GOTY for the first time right now and the overall effect is wonderful. I highly recommend this title - even if you don't usually play CRPGs. The huge game world is simply gorgeous, the variable weather effects are nothing short of spectacular, the day/night cycles are very cool (including amazing sunrises - sunsets) and there are all sorts of excellent free plugins / mods that add additional sounds and new content. There is even one that turns all of Vvardenfall into a winter wonderland that I want to try out next and Chai recommended a mod that adds huge, flying, fire breathing dragons.

Cheers, Terry

It's a CRT, Raf. Terry, one of the first games I'm gonna try out on my new system is Morrowind. Right after I fire up Far Cry with all settings MAXED!

One problem with my monitor is it's so big I'm getting a neck-ache looking up.

It may be awhile before the whole thing is put together due to the 6800 ultras not showing up in stores in a timely manner. Mine was supposed to ship from Fry's today and they haven't gotten them in yet. CRAP!!!!

Then sit on a phone book or get a higher chair. Just get the heck UP there man, so you can really see what's happening in the big, beyootiful new game world.

Cheers, Terry
