F.E.A.R. fragfest

In an earlier forum, alot of members who owned MOH would get together online and make mayhem.
So in trying to recapture those good old days, for those of you who have DL F.E.A.R. Combat, if anyone wants to play, I was thinking of hosting some games this friday night (9/01/06).

I'd be interested. I played a couple maps and I prefer a more open area type maps like BF1942, but I still have it on the pc so I would be willing to participate. I wouldn't be able to join in until around 8 or 9 pm cdt though. I'll keep an eye out this week to see if it's on.

No, you have to DL F.E.A.R. Combat from thier website, it's a big DL at 1.75 Gigs.

FEAR Combat is stand alone like RTCW-ET. The download is nearly 2 gigs and does not require FEAR to be installed.

Ive been averaging 45 kills and only 5 deaths per game, I'm not sure many of you "prepare to get pwned" kids can beat that...

I suggest you put a list of times for the different time zones so we can be there at the same time.

EDIT: This FEAR combat wouldnt have happened to be covered in the updates ive downloaded for FEAR would it?

I believe FEAR Combat is the equivalent of FEAR 1.06.

That's around 10:30 my time. I seem to have come down with a bug since the weather has cooled here and I've been sleeping with the windows open for a few days. Hopefully I'll be able to stay awake a while to join in.

I won't be very good. I've only played the game for around 45 minutes one night. I had a hard time figuring out who was on my team and who wasn't, so any advice on that is appreciated.

Which btw, is this team vs. team, or every man for himself deathmatch?

I will be complete cannon fodder as I absolutely suck at FPS, but as soon as my notebooks arrive I will give it a shot. At the very least NFP can get some agression out at my expense. :lol: I will be the one aiming up in the air, sneaking around with five enemies behind me... laughing as they go for a head shot.
