After finally getting this 2Gb juggernaut of a demo to finally work (learned I had to press R and then A to tell ZoneAlarm to let it through when the initial load screen froze - and disabiling visual themes in the Compatibility tab under Properties of the mm.exe shortcut), I took screenshots while playing.

After finishing the tutorial, I learned you get to customize your skills (something I have zero interest in when playing an FPS), but I wanted to see how the rest of the game looked, so I played through the rest of the demo map.

This is a fantasy-based FPS that uses a context-based combat system, and runs on the HL2 Source engine. It's a beautiful game, and it ran beautifully with everything maxed out at 1024x768, but I won't be buying it. You fantasy RPG junkies might wanna try the demo though.

Bloody hell Nyghtfall... you recent posting flurry has got me off my ass and playing other things now... next will come pre-ordering, then the necessary hardware upgrades I'll need to be happy playing these games, then the realization that I will have no money for a long while.

My wife is so gonna kick your ass.

on topic... off to download now, I'vw actually been watching this one with interest anyways.

Well, I am a gamer, after all... I'm just letting myself enjoy more games again.

My wife is so gonna kick your ass.

Tell her I said to bring on the hurt.

I know its played from a fps perspective but it's a rpg first and for most. Personaly I have not played it but I'm 99.99% sure I'll be buying it. Cause pc zone said it was good and those guys are (almost) never wrong.
