Finally finished my game website!

Hey guys starting from about 3 weeks ago
I picked up a domain and a decent hosting account
and decided to make a game website.
Now I've been really picking up speed and get over 200 daily unique hits,
I also made a forum where i post updates and pretty much
just allow any general discussion. The website is www.allgamesallfree.com
I'd like to have opinions, suggestions on what I should add ,
or maybe even games or animations I can add to my list.
Currently I have 175+ games and have not recieved any animations yet.
Also my site has NO pop ups or pop unders so no worrys about that.

Looks good, I'd get rid of the google crap, and maybe add some more stuff to the homepage... Start writing your own reviews.... Just add more stuff really and it'll be slammin.

The google crap pays for the site lol, cant really get rid of it. Also im already working hours everyday on maintenance updates and advertising and its just to much to start adding reviews to my workload, Ill just have to wait for some more people and eventually they'll start writing reviews, thanks for the constructive feed back though.

Some good design, and plenty of games! I would changethe order of the menu on top around, right now it's not very logical. Start with the most important thing (play games) on the left, and then move on to the right with submit content -> reviews -> forums, and so on. A small border around the google ads would be nice too. :):

Yeah thats an idea, I would need to make all new images to change what they say around , it might take a while to do it but i can try.

I viewed the site in FF and the fonts are very small. There are some gamers out there, myself included, who can't read that small type. Maybe make it easier on us half-blind gamers.

You just need to resize your text, for some people its really big for some its really small, if you really have trouble seeing it there is an option to make text larger in the view option in the top tool bar i believe.

Now im up to 50 games , fixed the layout a bit and made the navigation bar look cleaner.

I went back for my second visit to see your progress and it is looking good. I agree with Jaffa that your fonts are too small, which makes seeing the blue text links harder on a black background. I saw your workaround, but I am using the default settings in Firefox and everyother site looks fine. It would be better as a website to cater to your customers rather then expect each one to adjust to your site. I agree with Circlebreaker as well about moving the Play Games button somewhere away from the top right corner. It makes it look like an afterthought and draws attention away from your main goal.

I like the overall visual layout of the site though and dispite my comment about the small text, the white on black does look good. I know you cannot remove the ads (hey, someone has to pay right?) but I would consider getting rid of or at least shrinking the google tool bar. It really does not seem necessary on your site but the size really jumps out and draws you away from your content.

The search bar? I thought it looked kind of cool on my front page and it as a working search that makes me money, whats wrong with that :). Anyway Im convinced alright , Ill move the play games to the left and about us to the right, its going to be a bit of pixelating but Ill get it down. Ok I was just about to do it when I realized a serious problem...my site is not a css and Id have to change all 60 something pages.. this might take an hour.

I just took another look at your homepage, you should put more games or screenshots on the front, and put the in categories like Action (and put the group of 4 under it) then Retro (then a group of 4 of those types) and so on with your other game categories.

Your front page just seems kind of scarce, there isnt much stuff on it.

Ok I've gone through about your whole site and here is some suggestions for the other stuff.

Contact Us - You should make a signature with your email itstead of just typed (text is kinda small in MSN Explorer)

Links - Well you could use more.

Forums - I would move the google ads to the bottom

Reviews - Maybe add a background?

Submit Content - Google ads on the bottom

About us - Really some of your pages are just plain text.

So if you can find some backgrounds or anything like that, that work with what you got already, your site would look great (it looks good now, but it might make it look better). And maybe higher resolution? My res. is 1680x1050, so your site takes up a very small part of the screen.

I dont got anymore sites linking to me to add. About us pages are supposed to be text but Im planning to add a list of domains owned by me with links to them. Ads are placed in a certain way which allow them be viewed easily and frequently, because I need money to keep my site alive and have it grow.

Its great that you have more games, now you just need some more graphics, I would forget about the other pages for a week, and just think of what you can do to the homepage.... Homepage means if its a good site or not to most people... If its too long they dont want to take the time to look through it. Too short they say it isnt worth looking at.

Right now is like a perfect length. Just spice it up and you'll been rivaling ebaumsworld in no time...

Speaking of which, I understand it's a game website but videos or picture or jokes would be cool.

Except you would have the background moving... I think that pic looks great but if you could get it to move like G-force does it would be by far the best looking site ever.

Now I have some more great suggestions I would like to keep private, and I would be willing to get in a... partnership but we would have to discuss $$$ because I just might make my own site to start making some money.

Parternship? You must really like my site :P lol. Im working on the homepage right now, I want to add the add to favs button the hit counter and some text. But Im worried the page might be a tad to long. Im not sure if I could implement the moving background like you suggested because my site is controlled with a script now. Also there are a few animations xxaio 3 ,5, 8 etc but I havent made animation categorys yet since there was so few.

Well I think your site has potential to be like ebaumsworld, which is rakin in the money now. And you need ads like the one on top of this page, instead of just google. Anyways PM me if you want to discuss a partnership of any kind $$$ involved or no money im sure we could work something out.

I have a pretty good ad setup, maybe we can form some sort of partnership, but the only money I have to spend is the 30 dollars profit ive made off adsense =\, I havent been getting many clicks lately.

I forgot to note, I had a party awhile back with those visualizations going with the music, half the time the people were watching them instead of listening to the music... So I doubt anyone would hate it, and I'm pretty sure everyone would think its cool.

Thanks, anyway I just added my 185th game, Im having trouble getting forum sign ups and thumbnails for games lately though =\..I been doing the pics mostly myself.

Added a gun favicon but for some reason it displays in every browser except internet explorer, its a shame. Still its a really cool favicon for those who do get to see it, I pixelated it myself with my mad skill to use the colors black white and yellow
