"note(s) - This is the second video I've made featuring gameplay from City of Heroes. I had no real motivation for creating this video, but I did enjoy running around and seeing many unique costumes and witnessing amazing combat tactics from the players of the Virtue server.

Please feel free to leave your comments, questions, and suggestions in this thread. Thank you and enjoy!"

City of Heroes Message Board Thread (http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=screenshots&Number=682444&bodyprev=#Post682444) - NOTE: Board registration and ownership of the game are required to post messages.

My own thoughts: This demo is a FANTASTIC display of what players can do with the game! Download it, and then go buy a copy!

 :shades:

Dude, that was awsome!

Arrrgggghhh....you guys are making me want to go purchase COH. I just can't get over the $49.99 price tag. I think any mmorpg should only be $29.99 max. Better yet, let me download a free trail version. :):

Now what movie was that song originaly used in? I'm thinkin Footloose.
Ahhhh.....80's flashback.

Shrek 2. The Fairy Godmother sang it near the end of the movie.

Good movie. Makes me wanna pick the game up and play.

But I just can't get past the monthly user fee. I haven't yet found a game that I'm willing to pay additional money on top of the cost of purchase to play. So, I guess I'll just live this game vicariously through other people's movies!

Looks like the song first appeared in Footloose, then in Short Curcuit 2. Go Johnny 5! LOL

See, that's my thing Jag. I wouldn't mind if I could download the game and try it for say a day or so. Then if I liked it I could see paying $15 a month. But not if I have to pay $50 first, then $15. There was a space/flight type mmorpg that did this, but I can't remember which.

I say all this, but watch what happens when World of Warcraft comes out. I'll break down and buy it. :p:

You would be correct. Bonnie Tyler recorded it in 1984, and then it was originally featured in Footloose.

Or that I was 7 then and remember going to the drive-in to see that movie.

I agree. If something along the lines of what you mention above were available for a game that I had some interest in, I'd probably give it a try. And who knows, maybe they'd end up reeling in another customer?!?
