Dude I'm presently trying to overcome the same problem for the second time!
It's linked with about 198 shared DLLS, all located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Shared DLLS. in the Registry that are associated with RTW graphic DLLS, and 3 files on the HD.
I'm no programmer but I think it has to do with with a bad RTW uninstall associated with an active WORM infection. It wasn't untill my most recent AVAST virus data base update that Simple File Shredder or the down load mirror for it was recognized as the malicious culprit of the most recent occurance of this problem.
If you play as much as me the RTW graphic files are the most used. So I would assume the the WORM overwrites these for its programmers nefarious purposes.
Like I said this is the second time in 6 months this has happened under the same set of circoumstances. Last time the only way I got passed it was to reformat the HD and reinstall WINDOWS.
This time I've deleted the mentioned invalid DLLS from the registery and Spybot Search & Destroy has apparently fixed the 3 WORM damaged files on the HD so i'm updating my graphic drivers (ATI Radeon) before testing to see if this has worked.
May have to reformat eventually but I haven't given up hope of working out how to fix the problem before resorting to a paid tech.
By the way I've been searching the web, threads and forums for about 5 hours now and you are the first person I've found suffering the same problem.
Don't feel lonely dude, hope this helps and good luck.

I followed the Regedit steps. Around 25% of which found RTW references I was previously unaware of but the WORM infection is preventing me from carrying out the file removal procedures. Give the above link a try, if your PC isn't infected with these new Microsoft Imataing worms it might fix all your RTW problems.
This worm, (should of written its name down) pretends to be a Microsoft update and with buggering a lot of files, sets up another user account on your PC (Computer number 20) accessed whilst on the web so alot of things have been damadged.
I'll reformat.

I used the file opener of Zoom player to get around the Windows Explorer damage the Worm has wrecked upon my PC and finish the steps from

This is the fix that you are looking for, remember "don't panick" and follow the steps listed one at a time.
