Welp, I just bought a GB Advance. It looks like this, only mine's black:

So far it's been really cool! The thing that stood out for me is its size. It's about the same size as a deck of cards, only more square.

I also bought two games: Spyro: Season of Flame and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. I haven't played Spyro yet, because Golden Sun kept me busy until the batteries died. The nice thing is it has built-in rechargables, so I just plugged it in a few minutes ago. When it's ready, I plan to dive back into GS.

Golden Sun is a very cool game, and old school RPG with some cool twists and some neat features.

Anyway, if anyone has some game recommendations, please feel free to pass them along!

You should have looked for the first Golden Sun too. If you find it stop playing Lost Age immediately. The sequel you're playing starts pretty much right at the end of the first game. It's kind of like starting a good book in the middle.

Plus, you can take your character from the first game into the second.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is great. Yeah, it's a port of the SNES game, but who cares when a game is that good.

One of the Castlevania's!

Ok, I haven't played any of the ones on the GBA, but if it's CV, it's gotta be good :D:

Thanks for the suggestions!

I didn't realize until I started playing that I bought the second Golden Sun... I'll swing by ebgames tomorrow to see if I can find the original!

BTW, if you want advance wars, just get advance wars 2 - since its the same game, just with more stuff.

oh, I forgot to mention that when I says it's about the size of a deck of cards, that's when it's folded closed. The cartridges are very tiny as well.

Get Fire Emblem,it's like FFTA, or Advanced wars, but with a cooler plot, and more loveable characters. plus the action is at a faster pace.
