safes in godfather

Anyone know how to blow safes in the godfather pc version?

you have to buy dynamite first (from black market merchant marked on your map with dynamite stick).

Then when you are close to the safe, press "P" (on PC version) to blow up the safe. Eventually you can select the dynamite as your active weapon and throw it at the safe.

Be sure to get some cover after placing the dynamite stick. Also don't confuse the dynamite with bomb. Bombs are more expensive and can blow up whole buildings.
