The quality of these are significantly toned down for posting.

Yeah, it's really great finally playing a game that isn't strictly populated by only enemy NPCs.

Looks really good. Did you take them on the highest settings?

Looks very impressive, especially those croud shots! Does the game take a serious performance hit with all those people on the street? That's a lot of polygons...

The game actually looks much better than those shots - quality was severely degraded.

I was suprised at how well the game handled the Mardi Gras level with the crowds, not a single slow down that was noticeable - I even got into a gun fight from a balcony shooting into the crowd (and killing some bystanders) and it was smooth.

Being able to throw that many people on screen, and the technology/method that is used, really opens up options for developers I think. They are just repeated objects and models and textures, but it still looks very believeable.

You can also buy an upgrade that lets you shoot through doors in this game.

And yeah the game is maxed out and at 1280X1024 using a 7800 OC 256 card, although those pics were resized to 800X640.

BTW - don't forget to let the bookseller talk to you for a while in the Mardi Gras level, next door to the target's location, really funny stuff.

What I wanna know is: why no one ever questions a giant hulking bald guy with a frickin' BARCODE on the back of his head, wearing some of the outfits.

Oh, sure. That's the "new" pool guy.

I had a laugh at the last shot, too.
