Hi there! I've spent a few hours playing GRAW today and while the gameplay was enjoyable, there were quite a few areas that left me wanting more. First off, the loading time. Launched it and got a black loading screen for over two minutes with no screen indication or progress bar whatsoever :(: Almost powered down the machine thinking it locked up on me. All right, I don;t have a high end gear (P4 2.8, X800XT 256MB, 1GB RAM, Hitachi 400GB PATA) but loading HL2 or FEAR in comparison was a breeze. The other thing that ticked me off was the lack of video options to scale down the game for mid/low range machines. I could NOT believe there were no ways to enable anti-aliasing. Played at 1280x1024 with 4X AF, medium settings, hopping to smoothen things up a bit, but the jaggies were just an eyesore :doa: It looked pretty bad when compared to HL2 Lost Coast or TR Legend. I know graphics aren't everything in a game, but come on, for a game that just came out, they could have provided AA support. What were they thinking?? Just my 2 cents... I'm back playing SWAT4

I'm currently playing it COOP with a few of my buddies.. It seems a lot harder then the single player was. Question for you though... Were you playing the Demo or Full version?

Also, the reason you can't play with AA has to do with the type of rendering method they went with in the game. (this was something the developers said in an interview).

I've been a little annoyed with a few of the games that came out recently as they aren’t really optimized properly and could work a lot better.

The graphics in GRAW aren’t bad but they could have been alot better for the kind of system power it demands.

It doesn't seem like a lot of the game developers lately remember what texture compression is or that PC's have more then 256 megs of ram for that matter. There so called next gen options in these games are only adding different textures and in some cases not even fully in use of higher res textures (most times they appear to be just lower resolution textures resized to a higher range). Take ether Oblivion or Tomb Raider Legend for instance... They both are nice games but with the extra content that they claim requires a 512mb video card the textures are still fairly low rez (pixilated). In Oblivion the memory is really not being managed properly and even with tweaking the ini files you will find that the game still does not make use of anything more then the 256mb preset in the ini file.

Anyway, If you playing the full version find a few buddies to play a Coop game with as it's a lot more fun and seems that even on easy it plays like hard in the single player.

Agree, I've been also disappointed lately with some of the most recent games and find myself goig back to older titles quite often. Btw, I played the full version of GRAW. The SP was fun don't get me wrong, but the lack of video options (e.g. no anti-aliasing) was disappointing to say the least :(:
