ATI Technologies Inc. has released a family of PCI Express graphics cards for consumer and commercial desktop systems. The Radeon X800, X600 and X300 cards are the first PCI Express graphics chips in the industry. The X-series products are designed to accommodate the transition to PCI Express, which replaces both PCI and AGP, the legacy interconnect standards. The cards are designed to deliver DirectX 9 performance for the entry-level, performance and ultra-high-end segments of the PC market.
